Introductio In Analysin

That was fantastic. It deserves proper feedback with quotations and - I have to say it - literary or at least textual analysis, and I'm sorry not to be up to it right now. But your Dean is wonderful, all hot and cold as he needs to be, and I love all the dark places Sam glimpses in himself, how scared he is. That's the thing about him: he's a worrier, which means he's always running scared, and fear makes people dangerous. This stuff about him craving power. Sure he wanted power, he liked the way it felt, but not because it was a thrill he was chasing; because it made the fear go away. Made him stop thinking that anything could take Dean away at any time and he'd be helpless, just like last time. Dean being back wasn't real for him as long as he had no way of keeping him safe.

And Tim? What a sweetie! Sam does know how to love a heart of gold, however rough or randy the exterior. It's the only thing he does know how to love.

Thank you for the delight this story has given me. How does this have so few comments? I'm on LJ myself; are you appreciated properly here, or am I looking in the wrong places?
