In my previous AKB story, I had a lot of fun making my Bureau of Industry and Security Agents about as vile as possible. But I'm also reminded of how in Babylon 5, the character of Bester, while still a very corrupt and self-serving man did have things/people he cared about and that he also had to deal with some pretty horrific crimes, such as the time he came to B5 to track down a serial killer who had committed the hate-crime murders of several telepaths.

Author's Notes: First off, a huge thanks to thenyxie, bloody_adorable, and eviltwin for being incredibly cool about the whole thing.

The Homework Verse not only pushes my student/teacher kink, but is one of the best D/s stories I've ever read because thenixie gets that a good D/s story is very cerebral and is ultimately about people pushing their limits and discovering things about themselves. And that's what makes it BYFO hot.

A Real Wild Child pushes my "My Bodyguard" kink and features an older Jared and a younger Jensen and not only is there a mentorship thing going on (see above about student/teacher kink), but it's got one of the most awesome JDMs ever, and everybody involved is on a journey of self-discovery. It's also LOL funny in places in addition to also being BYFO hot.

So, I was re-reading my favorite chapter of Homework, and ARWC Jared showed up and said, "Boy, I'd like to meet those two and really fuck with their heads."

And I said, "Are you completely - wait a minute, yeah, that could be a lot of fun. Thenyxie's J2s are both so tightly wound." {wicked cackle}

Author's Note: I recently re-watched this movie. My Beautiful Laundrette may have woken the ho-yay in me, but I think this movie (which I saw when I was about 10) may have planted the seeds. As the years passed, the one thing I always remembered about this movie was that there was an emotionally intense relationship between two teen boys and that a motorcycle was a very important part of it.

The movie's got some clunky moments in it, but on the whole it's good, there's some great acting, and it's got two other things really going for it: It's slashy, and it's also got a 17 year old Adam Baldwin in it. (Baby!Jayne -- Squee!)

The Bureau of Industry and Security is a division of the Commerce Department created after 9/11. Obviously there's a been a bit of "mission creep" since then and now.

Influences on this story include: James Ellroy's LA Quartet, The Shield, Gorky Park, the Imperial So'jin (from Jordan's Wheel of Time), and there is an out and out homage to Piers Anthony's Bio of a Space Tyrant.
